Here’s what our clients have to say

Quick Dry was very efficient and quick to respond when we discovered mold/a water leak in our house. All of the technicians who helped us through the process were very professional and knowledgeable. We are first-time home owners, so a lot of this process was very new and confusing. Quick Dry also communicated with us well from beginning to end, responded to our concerns and questions promptly, and also worked with our homeowner's insurance company. Thank you!

A broken drain pipe caused flooding of the first floor of our 3 bedroom duplex. Quick-Dry came to the rescue, and were wonderful to work with. The workmen were efficient, had good suggestions, were efficient, were flexible and always courteous. Even more importantly the management, David Weaver, was amazing. When I was having trouble with the insurance agency he actually stepped in and took over. Due to his efforts, on our behalf we were able to get a reasonable settlement. David made this possible and his efforts were further assisted by Trevor McIlwain at IAS Builders. David and Trevor were there to help throughout the negotiations.

Quick Dry made the miserable news of water damage easier with their quick and professional work. They were at our home promptly and daily until the work was complete. The team worked hard to keep our home clean and access to our refrigerator even when it meant less wiggle room for them working. They were professional, kind and answered all of our questions! We had multiple people from the company help at our home and each maintained the same level of professionalism and kindness. Thank you, Jeremy, Victor, Mike, Basil, Tommy, and Samuel!

My condo's bathroom was flooded from the unit above mine, and there was extensive water damage because that unit wasn't quick to fix their plumbing issue. Quick-Dry was really great at getting everything sorted out. They responded quickly and professionally, and their prices were very reasonable. They did a really great job and everything was put back together perfectly. Thanks so much for the great work!

Quick dry was incredible with the flood I had in my basement. From start to finish, they were professional, helpful and communicated with me consistently throughout this process. Their workmanship is above average. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I have told my friends and family to use Quick Dry if they ever flooded or had mold/water damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are hidden signs of water damage?

Water damage can often leave behind subtle signs that are difficult to spot. These hidden signs include:

  • Peeling or bubbling paint: If the paint on your walls or ceiling is peeling or bubbling, this could be a sign of moisture in the air.

  • Discolored walls or ceilings: Look for light brown, yellow, or greenish stains that could indicate a water leak.

  • Musty odors: Mold and mildew need moisture to grow, and an unexplained musty odor may result from hidden damage.

  • Warped walls or floors: If your walls or floors are warped, this could be a sign of long-term damage.

If any of these signs are present in your home, it’s critical to contact experts in water damage restoration in Solana Beach to assess the damage and recommend an appropriate plan of action.

How long does it take to fix flood damage?

The amount of time it takes to fix flood damage depends on a variety of factors, including the size of the affected area, the extent of the damage and whether or not the flooding was caused by natural disasters.

Typically, water removal can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks. The more severe the damage, the longer it will take to repair, as extensive restorations may be necessary.

How can I prevent water damage in my home?

Caring for your home is key to protecting it from any water damage that may occur. Taking the proper precautions and steps now will ensure a safe, dry property in the future:

  • Inspect and maintain your roof regularly. Make sure that all shingles, flashing, and other materials are in good condition and that there are no cracks or gaps where water can penetrate.
  • Check gutters and downspouts for clogs, rust, or other damage. Clean out the gutters at least twice a year and ensure they’re in proper working condition.
  • Check the area around your windows, doors, and any other openings for possible leaks that could allow water into your home. Caulk or seal any areas where there is a gap to keep water out.
  • Look for signs of moisture on walls or floors. If you do see any signs of moisture, investigate the source and address it quickly to prevent further water damage.
  • Check for signs of mold or mildew in damp areas such as basements and around windows and pipes.
