Quick Dry was very efficient and quick to respond when we discovered mold/a water leak in our house. All of the technicians who helped us through the process were very professional and knowledgeable. We are first-time home owners, so a lot of this process was very new and confusing. Quick Dry also communicated with us well from beginning to end, responded to our concerns and questions promptly, and also worked with our homeowner's insurance company. Thank you!

A broken drain pipe caused flooding of the first floor of our 3 bedroom duplex. Quick-Dry came to the rescue, and were wonderful to work with. The workmen were efficient, had good suggestions, were efficient, were flexible and always courteous. Even more importantly the management, David Weaver, was amazing. When I was having trouble with the insurance agency he actually stepped in and took over. Due to his efforts, on our behalf we were able to get a reasonable settlement. David made this possible and his efforts were further assisted by Trevor McIlwain at IAS Builders. David and Trevor were there to help throughout the negotiations.

Quick Dry made the miserable news of water damage easier with their quick and professional work. They were at our home promptly and daily until the work was complete. The team worked hard to keep our home clean and access to our refrigerator even when it meant less wiggle room for them working. They were professional, kind and answered all of our questions! We had multiple people from the company help at our home and each maintained the same level of professionalism and kindness. Thank you, Jeremy, Victor, Mike, Basil, Tommy, and Samuel!

Quick dry was incredible with the flood I had in my basement. From start to finish, they were professional, helpful and communicated with me consistently throughout this process. Their workmanship is above average. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I have told my friends and family to use Quick Dry if they ever flooded or had mold/water damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between water and flood damage?

Although both types of damage will affect your property, flood and regular water damage differ in how they develop.

Can you just paint over water damage?

If the water has penetrated the paint or if there is any other evidence of moisture present, then painting over the damage will not be effective.

In these cases, it is necessary to remove the damaged material and replace it with a new surface that can properly dry. It’s best to consult with one of the professional water damage companies in San Diego on this.

How do you get rid of flood water in your house?

You’ll need to first ensure that it’s safe to enter and address any electrical or structural hazards. Next, remove any standing water using pumps or buckets. After water removal, thoroughly dry the area using fans, dehumidifiers, or other drying equipment to prevent further damage and mold growth.

How long does water damage take to dry out?

The time it takes to dry out can vary depending on several factors, including the severity of the damage, the type of materials affected, and the level of humidity in the environment. In general, it can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks. It’s important to ensure that the affected area is completely dry to prevent mold growth and further water damage to your home in San Diego.

How long does it take to repair water damage?

The duration needed for water damage repair hinges on the scope of the damage and the types of materials impacted. Minor damage may be quickly resolved within a few hours, while significant structural damage could extend the repair process to several weeks.

Beyond the immediate repair, addressing these issues involves a comprehensive assessment by professionals providing water damage restoration and implementing preventative measures to safeguard against future incidents.

What happens if you don't fix the water damage?

If the water damage is not fixed, it will continue to get worse and could cause permanent damage to your home. The structural integrity of your home could be compromised, leading to expensive repairs. Mold can also grow in moist environments, which can cause respiratory problems.

How do I get rid of brown water stains on my ceiling?

It’s important to call one of San Diego’s professionals for water damage restoration to fix the leak and prevent further damage.

Can you tell how old the water damage is?

The best way to determine how old the water damage is would be to have a professional inspect the area. However, in general, if the damage is more than 48 hours old, it will be more difficult and expensive to repair.
