Quick Dry was very efficient and quick to respond when we discovered mold/a water leak in our house. All of the technicians who helped us through the process were very professional and knowledgeable. We are first-time home owners, so a lot of this process was very new and confusing. Quick Dry also communicated with us well from beginning to end, responded to our concerns and questions promptly, and also worked with our homeowner's insurance company. Thank you!

A broken drain pipe caused flooding of the first floor of our 3 bedroom duplex. Quick-Dry came to the rescue, and were wonderful to work with. The workmen were efficient, had good suggestions, were efficient, were flexible and always courteous. Even more importantly the management, David Weaver, was amazing. When I was having trouble with the insurance agency he actually stepped in and took over. Due to his efforts, on our behalf we were able to get a reasonable settlement. David made this possible and his efforts were further assisted by Trevor McIlwain at IAS Builders. David and Trevor were there to help throughout the negotiations.

Quick Dry made the miserable news of water damage easier with their quick and professional work. They were at our home promptly and daily until the work was complete. The team worked hard to keep our home clean and access to our refrigerator even when it meant less wiggle room for them working. They were professional, kind and answered all of our questions! We had multiple people from the company help at our home and each maintained the same level of professionalism and kindness. Thank you, Jeremy, Victor, Mike, Basil, Tommy, and Samuel!

My condo's bathroom was flooded from the unit above mine, and there was extensive water damage because that unit wasn't quick to fix their plumbing issue. Quick-Dry was really great at getting everything sorted out. They responded quickly and professionally, and their prices were very reasonable. They did a really great job and everything was put back together perfectly. Thanks so much for the great work!

Quick dry was incredible with the flood I had in my basement. From start to finish, they were professional, helpful and communicated with me consistently throughout this process. Their workmanship is above average. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I have told my friends and family to use Quick Dry if they ever flooded or had mold/water damage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is mold from water damage harmful to restaurants?

As most specialists in emergency restoration for restaurants will tell you, water damage leads to mold growth pretty quickly in all properties. In some cases, mold can start developing in just 24 hours. One of the biggest issues with mold is that it isn’t visible to the naked eye before mold spores have significantly colonized your walls.

Having mold indoors is both structurally destructive to your restaurant or bar and damaging to your guests’ health. This is why it’s paramount to react quickly.

How long does it take to dry out a flooded restaurant?

This isn’t easy to estimate, because it depends on the setup and size of your establishment, as well as the number of windows and the quality of air circulation. Left on its own, an average restaurant will dry out in approximately five days to a week, but it can last longer.

However, to speed things up and avoid damage to your property, it’s smart to hire specialists in emergency restoration for restaurants for your premises in San Diego to substantially cut the time needed to dry out your rooms.

What happens if water gets in your walls?

If given enough time, water will find a way to permeate almost everything. When it gets into your restaurant or bar, it has to be dealt with in a swift manner because it will lead to mildew and mold pretty quickly.

Besides wood rot that can damage your restaurant’s furniture and flooring, water can cause structural issues with your walls. It’s important to act decisively and call on restaurant damage restoration services to remove excess water from your walls and ceilings before it causes significant structural damage to your property.

Does drywall need to be replaced after water damage?

While it’s hard to give a definite answer without having a look, in most cases when the water comes into contact with a drywall, it will have to be replaced. Even though drywall has many qualities, withstanding water isn’t one of them.

When drywall comes into contact with water, it starts soaking up moisture due to its porous nature. If you don’t have a reliable team to provide restaurant damage restoration services quickly, your wall construction may become dangerously soft due to excess moisture.
